Vietnam race calendar

How to read this

Updated 24 Oct 2026. Dates are as published by organisers and race listings on that day. Dates marked to confirm have not yet been announced by the organiser. Always check the race website before you book flights.

Vietnam’s racing season follows the weather. The north is cool and dry from November to March, the south is dry from December to April, and the central highlands around Da Lat stay mild all year, which is why the big trail races sit there. From April the heat and humidity push most road races to night starts or off the calendar.

How we choose races

This calendar lists races that accept international entries and that a visiting runner could realistically travel to. We do not list closed corporate runs or school events.

The biggest races get a full race guide. Others get a shorter spotlight in the journal. Every Friday, This weekend in Vietnam picks out what is on.
