Lam Dong Trail 2026

Kit pickup is on Friday 6 November. The long races start in the dark on Saturday; the 5 km races run on Sunday.
Standard Chartered Hanoi Marathon Heritage Race 2026

New start and finish at Thong Nhat Park. Kit pickup is before race day, never on race morning.
Trang An Marathon 2026

Halong Bay Heritage Marathon 2026

Sold out. Vietnam’s only World Athletics Label race; in past years the marathon started before 04:00.
Ultra Trail Cao Bang 2026

Foreign entries closed on 9 October. Remote, with night shuttles to the start; everything closes at 19:00 on Sunday.
Yen Tu Heritage Marathon 2026
28–29 Nov 2026 · Quang Ninh · Road
A smaller heritage race on the roads into Yen Tu. Many 2026 details are still to confirm.
VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight 2026

The marathon starts at midnight on Saturday night. Kit pickup on Friday and Saturday.
Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon 2026

Kits are handed out only on the two days before the race, and the 2026 venue is still to be announced.
Nha Trang Night Run 2026

Kit pickup and race on the same Saturday. The half marathon starts at 19:00 on the seafront.
Can Tho Heritage Marathon 2026

The Mekong Delta’s big road race. In 2025 the marathon started at 03:00; 15 minutes late means no race.
Cuc Phuong Jungle Paths 2026

Kit pickup and the two longest starts are on Saturday. Every distance is 18 and over.
Son Tra City Trail 2026

VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2026

Vietnam Highlands Trail by UTMB 2027
8–10 Jan 2027 · Da Lat · Trail
Vietnam’s first UTMB World Series race. Kit collection is on Friday only, and every race finishes at Clay Tunnel, outside the centre.
Bac Ninh Legacy Marathon 2027

Flat and bridge-free, 30 km from Hanoi, with a pre-dawn start. All changes close on 31 December.
Mang Den Ultra Trail 2027

Remote Central Highlands plateau. Kit on Friday; the 70K and 100K need a trail qualifier.
Vietnam Trail Marathon 2027

A Saturday race about five hours from Hanoi. All distances finish at the heart-shaped tea hill.
Eximbank HCMC Marathon 2027

A different race from the Techcombank marathon. Tight cut-offs on gun time; register by 30 November to avoid the last pen.
Dat Thep City Trail 2027

Trail and road around the Cu Chi Tunnels, about an hour from the city. 21K and 42K are adults only.
Mang Den LaLa Trail 2027

The gentler Mang Den trail race, up to 50K. The 50K needs a 21 km qualifier.
Dalat Ultra Trail 2027
19–21 Mar 2027 · Da Lat · Trail
Seven distances from 5 km to 160 km over three days. Your start day and pack collection day depend on your distance.
Danang International Marathon 2027

Kit pickup, start and finish all at East Sea Park on the beach. Register by 15 December to avoid the last pen.
Tien Phong Marathon 2027
20–21 Mar 2027 · Bac Ninh · Road
The national championship, first held in 1958. Registration had not opened yet.

- Local details come from people who have produced races in Vietnam and from runners who have done this one.
- Anything we cannot verify goes in “Still to confirm”, never in the main text.
- Each guide shows the date it was last updated. After race day it becomes an archive with a link to results.
- No organiser, sponsor or hotel pays for or approves a guide. See our disclosure.
