Part of the ticket revenue funds free eye operations for people in difficult circumstances.

The 21K goes north

The half marathon runs out past Hon Chong to the Libera Nha Trang area at Bai Tien and back.

Evening heat

Nha Trang is warm even after dark in December. Drink at every station.

Collect your race kit

Kit pickup is on race day, Saturday 12 December, 08:00–17:00, at 2 Thang 4 Square.

Bring two things:

Your passport

For ID at the counter.

Your confirmation email

With your QR code from the ticket partner.

Because pickup closes at 17:00 and the race starts at 19:00, collect your kit in the morning or early afternoon, then rest at your hotel. Do not plan to arrive in Nha Trang on Saturday evening.

Getting there

Nha Trang is on the south-central coast.

Fly to Cam Ranh

Cam Ranh International Airport has domestic and some international flights. It is about 35–45 minutes by road to central Nha Trang.

By train

The overnight train from Ho Chi Minh City or the north arrives at Nha Trang station, a short ride from the square.

Walk to the start

Most seafront hotels on Tran Phu are within walking distance of 2 Thang 4 Square.

Roads close in the evening

Tran Phu and Pham Van Dong close for the race, so allow extra time for taxis after 18:00.

The course

The seafront at night.

All three courses run on the Tran Phu – Pham Van Dong seafront road, past the Tram Huong tower, over the Tran Phu bridge and towards Hon Chong. The 21K continues north to the Libera Nha Trang area at Bai Tien before turning back. It is a flat road course with sea views and city lights.

Weather

~25 °Ctypical evening temperature in mid-December

December is the end of Nha Trang’s rainy season. Evenings are warm and humid, and showers are possible. Expect the sea breeze to help on one leg and work against you on the other.

Where to stay

Stay on the seafront.

Hotels along Tran Phu and in the streets just behind it are closest to the start and finish. Book Saturday night, because you finish late in the evening.

Rules worth knowing before you travel

Most of these are standard.

Same-day kit pickup closes at 17:00

Be in your start area on time

Each distance has a warm-up call 30 minutes before its start.

Use the organiser’s transfer process if you cannot race.

Courses close on time

5K at 21:30, 10K at 22:00 and 21K at 22:30.
