Mang Den Ultra Trail, in its third season, runs through the pine forests, lakes and waterfalls of the Mang Den plateau, the “land of mist” in the Central Highlands, now part of Quang Ngai province. The race has carried the UTMB Index since 2026. The thing to plan around: Mang Den is remote, kit pickup is on Friday, and the 70K and 100K need a trail qualifier.

Pleiku Airport has domestic flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Allow about 2.5–3 hours by road to Mang Den.
Or via Quang Ngai
From Chu Lai Airport or the coast, the road climbs to Mang Den in about 3–4 hours.

The course
Pine forest, lakes and mist.
